This story can be heavily connected to today’s society easily. Technology has advanced so far in the past decade, changing the way people interact with each other. For example, students in the past would need to go to a library if they were to research, potentially talking to other students in the same field and expanding their knowledge through physical interactions; today students every where prioritize online research, locking themselves in isolation with only just a computer, much like the society Vashti and Kuno live.
