Something hanging off of the tree intrigued the two boys to investigate. Roy's expression darkened. Hanging off of the tree was a noose swaying back and forth. Will stared in horror. "Do you think this ties in with the deaths?" Roy asked. Will didn't reply. He made little movement. A tear came out of his eye. Roy seemed a little nervous, so he walked over to his friend. "You alright?" He didn't reply. Will slowly pointed to the dead oak. Roy looked from him to the tree. When he realized that he was pointing to the tree Roy cautiously walked over to it. Roy ran over to Will and screamed, "We got to get out of here!" Will regained consciousness and nodded his

As the light of the town faded away, there was barely enough light for shadows. Even the stars and the moon were hidden behind a dense layer of clouds. Between the bush leaves, Jared could see a figure standing in the middle; it was slightly taller than the others and draped around it’s neck was a large golden necklace with a ruby in its center. In one slow dramatic step, the figure moved forward and raised his arm extending a sharp, scabbed finger. “Come here,” a low beckoning hiss issued from underneath the hood. “What do you want from me?” said the elder witch, in a trembling voice.…
