Adam was diagnosed with aspergers but his father believes that was not the reason he did what he did. Everyone close to Lanze suspected him of more mental issues than just aspergers. Although aspergers is a violent syndrome related to autism, the violence is never directed toward anyone else other than themselves. Autism diagnosis always involve another mental incapacity. Rarely is a diagnosis just autism or asperger's. The truth of the story is, Adam Lanza was not a mentally correct teenager. Without a full diagnosis of his brain, he might have been a criminal before the massacre even happened. This story most nearly represents what will happen when guns are taken away from law abiding
