It is a great choice and everyone I know that goes there loves it. Ohio University is a little more expensive than Bowling Green State University. For Ohio residents the tuition and fees are $11,744 per year, if you are an out of state resident the tuition and fee is $21,208 per year. If a student is planning on living in a dorm it is $6,592 per year. I am not one hundred percent sure if you have to stay in a dorm the first year you attend. If they do, that is one thing I don't think I would like to do. If one chooses to have the meal plan it will be $5,676 per year
