The Boston Tea Party was the dumping of tea into the harbor in Boston. This act was committed by The Sons of Liberty. The Sons of Liberty were a group of colonists that were protesting against British taxes and laws. They were led by Samuel Adams.They dressed as Mohawk Indians to climb aboard ships and protest by dumping tea into the Harbor.

The Boston tea party was the result of angry colonists protesting. They were protesting the British Tea tax. The British Tea tax was the tax on tea. Nine colonists known as The Sons of Liberty boarded three ships and dumped 342 crates of tea into the harbor.This act was committed in the harbor of Boston, Massachusetts.
