One example, would be how police may manipulate your body by however they pleased and they would not be held accountable. Which is surprisingly to me because I believe they swear oath to serve and protect everyone no matter their status or situation dealing with money or color of their skin. One piece of evidence, “These officers had my body, could do with that body whatever they pleased” (76). Another piece of evidence, “I could have you arrested! Which is to say: I could take your body”(95). This also proofs of how cops quickly escalate the situation. Another example, of police brutality would be the two certain cases that happened recently about Alter Sterling and Philando Castile. Castile mentioned to the cop that he was reaching for his Identification card. Even though he confessed to the cop that he was armed but had a license to conceal a firearm. In Sterling’s case it demonstrates the brutality brought to him after he resisted arrest even though an officer was on him and the other was by his arms. Then, the police just got irritated by him I believe so he decided to take the poor man’s life for no cause. They have to live by being neglected in certain areas. Even many of them have been judged by the way blacks simply look. There have been cases where in society you see people refusing service to you by the color of the skin. Even simply at the streets you see a black guy or two walking on the same side of the street as you so you get nervous and hold your stuff or you cross the street to avoid them. The societies in America view the color of your skin as a type of value. This type of value comes in a form of a pyramid. Where the whites are on top of course due to white supremacy but then as you look down at the pyramid you see blacks and browns at the bottom doing the hard labor jobs. One example, of white privilege would be about the guy that shot up a black christian church. In which he was seen innocent because the police claimed him to be mentally ill. However, if a black person committed the same crime they would be sentenced for life in jail. Another example, would be the rape that a white guy committed on a unconscious white girl at stanford university. The judge forgave him to six months of held accountable. On the other hand a black guy committed the same error and he was sentenced to live in jail. In society in
