How To Find Out Your Baby's Position Using Belly Mapping Technique

As your due date inches in, you become curious about the well-being of your little one. At such a sensitive time, knowing the position of your baby can re-assure you that everything is fine and in place. Generally, the most ideal placing for a normal childbirth is considered to be the downward head.
Nevertheless, not every pregnancy might be perfect on its own. Thus, belly mapping is one technique that can come to your rescue and help ensure a healthy delivery.

This is because around the end of the second trimester, baby takes up his final position that continues until the delivery, until and unless it is interfered with. How Is Belly Mapping Done?
Here comes the big question- how to go about doing belly mapping? Loosen up, belly mapping isn’t as technical as it sounds. All you would need for it is a marker and a doll. Follow the step-by-step process-
• Using the marker, find the centre point of your bump and split it into four equivalent quadrants. Now, try to locate the head of the baby by touching your bump; the spot on your stomach that feels like a little globe will probably bethe head. Remember to not confuse it with the hips as they also feel like a bulge. However, take note that hips will be closer to where you can feel the kicks. Use the doll to determine your baby’s positioning.
