The first connection that i made was with Hank. When he just woke up in Penn Station and was really confused because of all the noise. In the test it says, “My eyes shoot open, and there is too much. Of everything. Blurred figures, moving. White lights. Muffled waves of sound. Voices. Music. Chaos.”(page1) This show how Henry was disoriented by all the sound and because of his concussion. I can connect to this because I’ve had a concussion once and I know how it feels. I’ve also been to Penn Station and it's crowded and loud, which makes it worse with a concussion.

When Hank left New York and left Jack and Nessa, I was curious of what was going to happen to them. Once Henry started to get his memory back and remember the car accident, I was wondering if Rosie died or if she survived. At the Battle of the Bands, when Jack went to the hospital, I was curious about what was going to happen to him. One question that I had for most of the book was who was Hank. I was answered throughout the book, as he was starting to remember. In the text it says, “Edging closer, closer, then with terrible silent screams, the statues fall one at a time and crash onto the library floor. Not solid marble at all, but with thin exteriors like eggshells that crack open and spew their true contents. Rotting meat crawling with maggots. Fat nightcrawlers and green garter snakes and horned lizards.”(page 131) This shows what Hank was hallucinating because of the cut that he got. Using my five senses I could see and hear the statues fall on the floor, and smell the rotting meat
