I previously worked in the laboratory at the Los Banos campus as a work study. I liked the job because it is the type of field I wanted to go in. I decided to leave the laboratory to be in the tutorial center so I could face my fears. Without a doubt, it is the best decision of my life. Bad as in I wouldn’t know if I am going to be able to help them. On the first day I helped them, I wanted to know what exactly do they have problems with, as in studying problems I could help them out. Once I know what exactly they have problems with, I would be able to figure something out that could make their school experience better and easier. What helped me out the most was using all the tips and tricks I learned with the learning modules.
