The genre of these pieces were classical.
The concert, was pretty good in the sense that everything went as planned. No one screwed up, and the musicians played …show more content…
For example, she played with perfect volume and messed with dynamics where it was needed, which made the room feel some type of way. At times she would go really fast, staccato like the all of a sudden switch the rhythm to really slow. When i looked at the program i thought that i would be more intrigued because i would want to find some of the pieces they played, and maybe call out where they missed a beat or something. I thought I would be pretty solid on the Beethoven pieces. Sadly I did not know one piece they played. Also, it seemed like one hour would pass, until we could clap and i didn't really like that. The Chopin piano trio piece, Allegro con fuoco, had a very fast rhythm and combination dynamics, sometimes being loud and sometimes soft. The feel of the piece was very gloomy and sometimes scary. The Dvorak Piano Trio piece, Allegro, had a very low melody and the rhythm was very slow, though some parts were high, fast, and staccato like. The feel of the piece was also very gloomy.
Over all the best thing about the concert is that I got to sit in the upstairs seats, though my phone almost fell down into the main floor audience several times. The worst part about the concert was how boring it was, and that after it ended,
