UP OBSERVATION
In the 1970’s, Bedford Care Centers started their careers in long-term care. It was in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where the first Nursing home was purchased, the number of Bedford Care Centers has grown, and we now have centers in central and south Mississippi. Bedford Care Center, now have a sister company that provide services; such as retail and institutional pharmacy, staffing relief, and private-duty care to seniors.
Although, we are still based in Mississippi, with a family-owned companies built on trust and strong values – Respect, Honesty, Dependability, Caring and Compassion. The facility has private and semi-private rooms. The facility has a spacious, dining room with a baby grand piano is a perfect spot to enjoy our resident centered dining experience. There is a large activity room, large, comfortable day rooms and a conference room. Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall is the only skilled nursing home in Mendenhall and the only one you will ever need! Bedford Care Center Monroe Hall is a 60 bed skilled nursing facility located in Hattiesburg, MS. The center was completely remodel in 2006, it now feature a patio area, a yard that also been landscaped and raised, flower gardens is wheel chair accessible. The dining room area opens up onto a covered patio area is highlighted by the resident centered dining experience. The facility has a large activity room a piano and Wii games and also a family room with fireplace. Bedford Care Center Monroe Hall is proud to partner with the Pearl River Community College School of Nursing to provide an onsite Dedicated Educational Unit which invests in the development of well-trained LPNs. Bedford Care Center of Newton is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility located in a quiet, residential neighborhood. The center has a large activity room with a Wii game for residents, a van for resident transportation, and day rooms. The spacious dining room is home to a resident dining experience.
