MOHAMMAD BARAZANI (Protect Identity), date of birth (DOB) 04/17/1979, of 4619 Goodell Avenue, Apartment 14, Alexandria, Virginia 22313, was interviewed at Brion’s Grill, 10621 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, Virginia, 22032. Thereafter, BARAZANI provided the following information: BARAZANI arrived to the restaurant without any trouble, but did not have much time for the interview. BARAZANI’s boss believes he is at George Mason University dropping off brochures for summer study in Brugaria. Believing the embassy car was installed with GPS systems, BARAZANI needed to head back to the Brugarian embassy shortly to avoid any suspicion. Individuals from the interviewer agent’s department can conditionally agree to help, but requires BARAZANI to relinquish more information. He said the diplomatic pouch containing heroin arrived at the Brugarian embassy. BARAZANI misheard previously that the diplomatic pouch contained six kilograms of heroin; the diplomatic pouch that arrived contained four kilograms of heroin. The heroin is still at the embassy. BARAZANI overheard at the embassy that explosives were arriving to the Brugarian embassy in one of the diplomatic pouches. A terrorist organization would receive the explosives. The terrorist group plans to destroy a multi-story apartment building in a large metropolitan area. The apartment building selected will be occupied by low-income individuals; it is a low-income apartment complex because they will draw less suspicion from the apartment management. BARAZANI was informed that someone from the terrorist organization will rent an apartment on one of the lower levels to set off the explosives.
