My future career consists of being an automotive mechanic, and I can say for sure that technology makes a huge difference in this area of expertise. I’m going to start off by saying that I’ve always been a fan of fixing cars and bikes. My fascination all started when my father taught me how to switch a flat tire with a new one. This area of technology fascinates me because without mechanics people who don’t know how to switch tires will struggle, matter a fact they might not even have cars. Mechanics are protagonists in my opinion, many people need them when they are in trouble.

Mechanical engineering is the study of motion. Motion is important, whether you realize it or not, it impacts you on a daily basis. It is fundamental to all living things. Since cars are used in our every day lives, people will need someone to assist them and that’s where I come in. This all comes from my uncle, he told me that his top priority was to get the job done as quickly as possible to keep his clients happy and the tips high. Mechanics make over $32,000 a year, depending on the amount of customers. If I were to make it into this industry, I would have to start from the bottom up, and if that’s the case by the time I’m done with college I should be more than half way there.

These new cars are more improved and are made with computer chips and electronic parts. Mechanics use electronic diagnostic equipment to help them find the issue in the car. Since cars are electronically put together, the way to the problem is through more electronics, not hand tools.
