Arthur Shawcross is a serial killer that murdered eleven women and kidnapped/raped, two children. Shawcross was described as an individual that had a troubled childhood because his mother sexually assaulted him as a child. This type of abuse traumatized him throughout his life, which led him to have an abnormal brain. Every time that Shawcross murdered a woman, a psychologist stated that he had no conscious control because of suffered from a mental seizure. Police and FBI officers had a difficult time pinpointing whom the individual was because Arthur Shawcross was capable of blending in with people. After Arthur Shawcross was captured it took three days for his testimony because he was tired of everyone asking him questions about the case.
