Depending on what art you are looking at, listening to, reading or enjoying it can strengthen your world view or change your perspective on something in life by one piece of art. Schaeffer talks about a painting of a cow and the painting is labeled, “Side of Beef Hanging in a Butcher shop” this painting was done by a painter named Rembrandt. Schaeffer says this changed his world view, “Speaking for myself, after looking and looking at his picture, I have never been able to look at a side of beef in a butcher shop with the superficiality I did before (Art in the Bible, p57). Many things can touch you in this same way, poems may say something in particular about God and it may help change your thoughts, in fact our worldview is established by the things we see or view throughout our lives. Art has a way of telling a story whether it is a painting of fairies, which brings a sense of peace, but obviously, fairies are not real, or a painting of a old woman sitting in a rocking chair may show age as beauty, to a portrait of a soldier showing history. All of these are pictures but all show something different to people, and every person depending on who they are may look at each picture a little bit
