A place that reminds me of Miami is “Little Havana “. Little Havana is Miami’s Cuban heart. Theirs many Latin art gallery and very busy restaurants. These restaurants are located on “Calle Ocho “8 street. Most of them serve delicious Cuban food.

There’s also plenty of bakery’s and small coffee shops where You can go and enjoy the breeze and the fantastic view. Many older people go to get the famous “Cuban shot”. You would be amaze by the length of wait but it’s worth it. They also like going to the smoke shop to purchase Cuban cigars. On Calle ocho many locals discuss politics and play dominoes at Maximo Gomez park.

The elderly also meets to discuss about their past times in Cuba. Most of them spend the entire day at the dominoes table. The focus of little Havana is Calle ocho. It comes 1 time per year. A huge festival on “Calle Ocho”. About 2 million people gather together from different culture.

The things that I see that reminds me of Miami are the guys shaking maracas and dancing salsa. Best known for the “Conga line “. That is a line with people dancing and moving around the room or if your outside, don’t let it stop!

Another thing is the snakes as fashion accessories. People have a lot of courage to put that huge snack around their neck and take pictures. They find that amazing. Little Havana also offers tours of the city. The best thing about Miami, little Havana is the weather. Most of the time its sunny. There will always be a nice breeze and a good amount of sun.
