Aphrodite loved to see people fall in love, even if she could never really find true love herself. One of the match’s she set up was Jason (a God) and Medea (daughter of the King Aeëtes). Their connection was undeniable. Not only did she set up good relationships, she also set up inappropriate relationships between different God’s. When Zeus found out about her matchmaking capabilities he punished her in a way she wouldn’t like. Zeus forced her into a relationship with a Prince named Anchises and they had a child together. That child’s name was Aeneas, yes the son she went into the war to save (Skidmore). A lot of people found love by her help. She is like a matchmaker website!
