If something in the biosphere changes, this could affect the way the animals, plants and humans survival. For example, right now the biosphere is warming up because of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and this is going to change the hydrosphere, all of which will change the biosphere.

This article in the NY Times explains that s the name suggests, a digital globe is a sphere shaped display screen. The images on a digital globe can be changed with a keyboard or tablet computer.
