Anxiety. Do you really know what that means? Do you know how it feels to live with it? Can you imagine living every day in constant fear over something in your life? Anxiety is something most people have to deal with. There are people in this world who have to deal with anxiety every day of their life and it takes a major toll on them. Sometimes, anxiety affects them based on how they choose to cope with it or how they react to it.
If you struggle with anxiety you may feel that you are lonely and that no one can understand how you feel everyday of your life. Having a good support system whether it be your friends and/or your family can help you cope with your anxiety over things. It gives you people to talk to that you know are going to be able to give you feedback. It will also be more beneficial because they are someone you know you can trust. They will be there for you whenever you need to talk. Dealing with anxiety may be hard for some people because they are not ready to open up and share about what is going on in their life. When problems in your life become too much for you to handle or can get in the way of your everyday life, you need to change what you are doing. You can go and see a Therapist and talk through your problems with someone who is willing to listen and give you feedback. This would be a good idea for you if you are someone who does not like to share your problems with the people around you; it gives you the opportunity to let it out to someone who is not someone you see on a regular basis. There are many different types of therapy you can try such as Cognitive-behavioral therapy and relaxation therapy. Relaxation Therapy gives you time to yourself to think not about all of the things that you need to do. It gives you time for your mind to rest and your muscles to be less tense You could go and see a physiatrist and get diagnosed with your anxiety, and they will be willing to help you find help for yourself. During your everyday life, you can change how you eat, like making a diet plan or eating healthier. When you go and see a physiatrist they might suggest that you take medication for your anxiety. When you take your medication it will help you become less nervous and control your anxiety (Anxiety Disorder). Say you were getting anxiety over a test that you needed a really good score on and it put lots of pressure on you to do well. A couple of nights before you get really panicked. You can just study hard for periods of time throughout your day to prepare yourself for the actual test and you will feel more confident. During the test, if you still are getting nervous, you can try a breathing exercise to become more focused of your test. Anxiety can happen to anyone. Even though we do know for sure what causes anxiety, it can be caused by things in your life that make you stressed or nervous. It could be because you have a tough childhood or a traumatic experience. This can occur many times throughout your day, it just might affect other people in different ways and different degrees. Many things can trigger your anxiety depending on the person.
