Frank is one of the interesting characters who is always calm, composed and sedate even at the time when German forces came over take all of them to the concentration camp. It would not be wrong to assume him as the leader of the lots owing to his strength of the character (prezi.com, 2016). There was stark contrast between father and mother of the Ann. Mr. Frank as it has been discussed was a born leader who never seems to lose his temper. Unlike Mrs. Ann who gets depressed when Ann does not talk to her in the manner that he want her to and happens to completely left out of the picture.
