Animal testing is not ok for so many reasons. The first I have to say is about the hardship and pain to the animals. Animals feel pain along with humans, so why do we test on them? What if a bunch of giant animals took you from your natural home, nearly starved you, then tested on you with weird equipment in someplace strange? Yeah, pretty awful.…

We shouldn't pause medical research because activists feel bad for an overpopulated species. In “Using Animals For Testing: Pros Versus Cons” ,Ian Murnaghan, a medical writer, elucidates his “Personal Choice” saying, “ While there are numerous pros and cons of animal testing, ethical aspect overshadows both of them, which means that emotion may be the ultimate determining factor in whether a person believes the benefits of animal testing outweigh the problems associated with the practice.” While emotion may be the main factor determining the outcome of animal testing, many feel as if we should think with our brain, and not our heart.…

After studying multiple views on animal testing I have come to realize my personal view has now changed since the start of my research. Before undergoing heavy study into animal testing I believed that all types of animal testing should be stopped, but now I believe that the idea is very beneficial and should only be done when the rights of the animal are considered. In the coming years, hopefully, more regulations can be passed to ensure that all animal’s lives are protected during experimentation. Although most animals are treated with care and no pain is dealt to them when undergoing testing, it would be a lie if I stated no animals are harmed during the process. Animal testing is extremely useful in developing life-saving drugs and medicine.…

Now days, society can volunteer themselves in clinical drug research for a monetary exchange. With modern science “we can see inside peoples’ brains using imaging machines or test microscopic amounts of new drugs harmlessly on volunteers.” (BUAV.org the campaign to end animal experiments, pg 7) Humans are more willing to volunteer themselves for the money, but also because strict health and safety precautions are put in place for their well-being at all times during the study. Humans can also communicate their side effects and pain occurrence which provides sound and optimal results for future modifications and or dosages. Unfortunately, animals cannot communicate these important factors, which in turn is useless.…
