Alexis Neiers relationship with her mother is one of the key observable factors that lead into who she is. Andrea Arlington-Dunn, the biological mother to both Gabby and Alexis Neiers, and the foster mother to Tess Taylor. Throughout the short lived series it is easy to see that she may mean well but is certainly more of a friend than a functional parent.
