It started off in Huck Finn with Huck living with the Widow which was his guardian and she was trying to have Huck grow up to be a smart educated young boy with plenty of manners and really mature. Huck wanted to run free and be himself and play in the mud though but his mom was dead and his dad was a threat to his life so he was fine living with the Widow. Huck didn't have a family at all so he was extremely grateful for the Widow for caring for him and keeping him safe. Huck was loved in the community because he was intelligent young boy. Once Pap stole Huck from the Widow his life changed big time as he ran away from his dad and went on his own. He didn't want to be civilized and once he found Jim he just wanted to explore and live life to the fullest and help Jim become a free man to buy his family out of slavery. The city of Shawano, Wisconsin my hometown was a great community with very caring people. There is no community like the city of Negaunee, Michigan though. This city has the most caring, loving, kind, and generous people I have ever seen. When I moved here I was really nervous about the community and how people acted etc but I don't need to worry because I know I’m accepted and I love the people here. I love how I can leave my car unlocked at the gas station knowing there’s no chance of it getting stolen because I’m in Negaunee, Michigan. This is a town where you will meet people where they are one of a kind because there isn't people in this world like there is in the city of Negaunee. I think Limerick, Ireland in Angela’s Ashes relates most to Negaunee with families accepting each other and helping people out at the lowest of the lows just to be kind and loving. Those are the people that make the world a better place. Huck Finn I don't think relates to well with todays society because slavery isn't a thing anymore and in Huck Finn slavery was going on in every town and people would shoot runaway slaves for money and rewards. Today everyone is treated equal and equality is a movement getting stressed to the people in the world today and everyone should be treated equal no matter your race, color of skin, or language you
