The first news story we found that was very important about Pepsi was this past April Pepsi created an Ad with Kendall Jenner ending racism and police brutality with a Pepsi. In the Pepsi commercial, it shows that Kendall offers the police officer with a cool drink opening his eyes to the all the racism and oppression to the black community. With this commercial Pepsi trying to symbolize a global message of unity, peace, and understanding. Which quickly backlash because lot of people got offended because Kendall Jenner can’t relate with police brutality.
