Most people at these places are easier targets because they are in tuned with there work. A lot of easy targets are schools, business, theatres and malls. Shootings usually happen in the morning because no one is expecting it and everyone is getting dropped off at school or just walking into their work getting their morning coffee or just watching a new movie. These places also get attacked because shooters want to get the most kills possible if its not a targeting kill. They are also less protected than most other places like banks or hospitals. Most of these easier targets their focus is on different objectives like schools focus on students and the papers they have due. Everyone that goes to these places is not waking up that day thinking today is their last day to live. Most people don’t think about these events occurring but they pop up at the most random time. The only way to prevent mass shootings is to place authority in place to prevent these actions from happening. Placing more police officers making a time schedule to rotate so the officers are alert. We need to pass laws that allows teachers and staff member of the malls to carry guns or to store guns to protect the student and other teachers, the staff would have to be taken through a course of gun safety. 12 long minutes is about the approximate time a shooting occurs.
