He even informs that chili peppers were used as medicine in some civilizations back then ,and how today's people eat chili peppers for the taste and the extreme heat. Also, he describes more facts like the brain’s awareness of peppers and their minor threat to the body. Lastly, this peppers makes people eating peppers so exciting that there are contests on eating them, but if these people stop eating chili peppers it will make their lives dull.
