House Auclaire Meeting Report

At the meeting, the scene is a fairly composed one. Leaders from both Chancellor and Auclaire were present and many were exchanging pleasantries and making small talk before the meeting begins. As the two houses had such a close-knit alliance, the openness and friendliness between the leaders was to be expected. The meeting room was a spacious one, that appears it could hold possibly thousands of people. On each of the walls, stood both the symbols of House Chancellor and House Auclaire respectively. After some more time passes, Alston Chancellor enters the room and alerts the audience that the meeting shall commence soon. Soon after, Joan also enters the room and officially commences the meeting. Opening, Joan beings by saying “As many of you have likely become aware by now, the purpose of this meeting is to formulate a plan of action to defend against a possible foreign attack by House St. Charles.” Then, Advent Bonaparte stands up and presses a button which activates a holographic map detailing possible routes of attack by House St. Charles. Advent then says “As you all can see, House St. Charles has a myriad of theoretical and possible outcomes of attack. However, I think the most likely scenario is an attack on the asteroid of either Eclipso or Karttunen. As, our house has recently made economic agreements with them, it is likely House St. Charles will try to disrupt this by crippling the asteroids.” As he finishes, Dirk Chancellor further adds “We are facing quite the dilemma in the sense that, due to the circumstances of the situation, sending in excessive numbers may result in excessive conflict among both House St. Charles and House Akimoto. Which is why I suggest that we deploy two small forces at each location to deter any St. Charles aggression.” “If we proceed with that plan of action, who is best suited to lead the detachments? If they are indeed deploying a force of that magnitude, then I would believe they would send some of their heavy hitters.” Joan says. Bonaparte then replies “I agree that, House St. Charles likely have deployed one of their champions. And in that case, we will need to deploy two of ours to adequately cover our bases.” Then raising out of his seat, Alston says “Very well then. If that’s the case, then who shall we deploy? Any volunteers in the audience?” Alston stares around the room waiting for a response, and gets one from Wolfgang Hitler. “I will worry about whatever it is the saints have in mind. I will make sure to deny them in whatever they plan to do.” As he says that, Joan then says “Absolutely not. Sending in a being of Wolfgang’s caliber would only escalate the situation and give them greater justification for future action they may take against us.” Wolfgang looking hurt, then replies “Imperial Leader, trust me on this matter. I will take no direct, aggressive action. I will merely be there as a deterrent: nothing more and nothing less.” Auclaire prime minister, Corbett Montmorency-Laval, with a worried tone says “It’s not that your potential actions concern us. What concerns us, is the message we would be sending, if you were to be deployed.” Then, Alston …show more content…
As many of you have heard, Horde has recently escaped his cell and is giving House Royale enough hell, to more or less demand additional help from us.” House Auclaire’s Grand Amiral, Geoffrey Fournier then asks “Why? We have obligation in that manner.” Joan then shoots Alston a look of annoyance and answers “Well our friends from House Chancellor have recently been aggravating House Royale by hacking into their networks and intentionally slighting their economy. And in exchange for not levying strict sanctions on House Chancellor, we cut a deal with them, to provide additional military assistance in their affairs when needed.” Chuckling to himself, Alston then says “Come now, it was for a good cause. I just wanted to know the locations of their most important secret research facilities. And guess what…I got them!” The revelation caused some in the room to grow concerned and even a bit

The obvious and best solution to the problem of the normal anxiety and discomfort that are associated with attending one's first AA meeting is to go to the meeting with someone who knows the ropes. If no friend or acquaintance who happens to be an AA member is available, contact can always be arranged by calling the local AA Central Office and asking for a volunteer to telephone one. Although many people avail themselves of such measures to reduce the stress of their first AA meeting, many others find such logical preliminaries themselves too frightening and therefore do not follow them. It is principally to this last group, to those solitary and always frightened and confused "first timers," that this brief introduction is oriented.…

    1. This picture draws attention the social conflicts that were happening during the Estate General, by depicting the third estate, middle-class lawyers or officials representing the people, being brought down. The picture shows those in the first two estates, the clergy of the Catholic Church, and the nobles, standing looking freighted by the man on the ground, who is part of the third estate, by the looks of his outfit. During this time the king refused to mandate voting by head or person rather than by order, because of this the third estate fought back, for if they did vote by head the third estate would have the advantage over the other two estates. They held meetings and elected deputies to write down their grievances, by doing this they thought the king would solve all their problems, but then France experienced a food shortage.…

“A long and arduous journey indeed!” Miss Vitrella Vanderholm agreed dramatically, “it is likely to be the death of a poor, old woman such as me, but for this respite of your tent.” She was always pleased when preachers orated upon the pitfalls of sinners and how miscreants would burn in the holy fires of hell. Holding her chin up, she was proud that she led a seemingly and forthwith life. God had blessed her indeed!…

The coronation dinner that night changed many things. That night everyone felt uneasy especially with the way the place appeared with such dark and comfortless colors around the palace. It was so utterly quiet that you could hear a pin drop and it brought chills to even the most powerful of people. Suspicions of various people were proven to be correct including the suspicions of Ross and Lennox. The dinner started fairly normal with the delightful smell of roasted beef roaming every hallway in the palace overpowering the stench of the uncleaned floors and unchanged drapes.…

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is “the most widely used treatment for alcoholism in the world;” it is known as a self-help group, which utilizes a 12-step program (Emirck & Beresford, 2016, p. 463). According to Mark Galanter, “Mutuality,” “is central to the AA fellowship” not self-help (2014, p. 301). AA is a “free” support group, with meetings being held “7 days a week” (Stockwell, 2017, p. 709).…
