In this modern day and age, kids are overly obsessed with their phones and no one is here to stop them. Many schools across the U.S are very strict on their ‘No phones in the classroom “ rule yet many students still sneak in their devices. Most parents and administrators think that the students use their phones in an inappropriate way but it is proven that more then 50% of students use them advisably. With that being said,I strongly disagree with your belief on cell phones. Cell phones have become an essential tool of life and communication with children being the majority

Should kids be allowed to have cell phones in class when they should be better spending their time on studying? Nowadays the typical image that pops into mind when someone mentions class rooms is that of a unorganized, chaotic room where teacher is droning on about the French revolution while the kids are busy texting each other, playing games on their phones and generally ignoring the teacher. Who would like to listen to something boring that happened a hundred years ago when you have the latest version of the subway surfer installed in your smart phone? Mobiles should not be allowed in class rooms because they are a sign of disrespect to the teacher. Cell phones distract students from their lectures and they can be used for cheating in a test.…

Are cell phones just another thing to distract kids or is it a learning tool. Schools should not ban cell phones from the school but cell phone use should be ban from classrooms unless it is being used in a productive way and with teachers permission. NEHS should not have a ban because a ban will not stop all kids from bringing their phones to school, cell phones can be a helpful tool, and it is a great way to insure that the child is safe. Even though a ban on cell phones does dicrease the percentage of kids that use their cell phones during class a complete ban on cell phones will not stop all kids from bringing their cell phones to class or the school.…
