Ramos, in his article addresses these issues by proclaiming the ideology and result of white supremacy in our society and its effects on minority groups as a result (par. 11). With the topic of oppression, Ramos describes multiple accounts of racial injustices and how they affect the multiple racial communities along as how they are viewed in our society. “Because Indigenous social justice is not simply about striving for the right to assimilate into White hetero-capitalist patriarchy, Indigenous people are often not allowed to exist within the parameters of that which gets counted as "social justice” (par. 16). By directing the overall issue to white supremacy, Ramos expands on the BlackLivesMatter movement to gain communal representation as well with those also affected by the injustices in our society due to racial favoritism.
