He explains how women are sensitive when they deal with dirt and cleaning, as suppose to what he portrays male’s priorities and sensitivities are sports. Now, men and women are different however they still carry similarities, for example Barry explains how his wife doesn’t understand how sports can be very important to his life and how he is sensitive about it. Moreover, Barry cites in his essay “This is an area where men tend to feel very sensitive and women tend to be extremely callous” (Dave Barry 221). Rephrasing, most men have a sensitivity passion for sports, together, with all women are “callous” (Barry 221) about it. Well, most individuals can agree on this, to a certain extent. However, the rest falls onto the category of a stereotype. Now in todays societies there seems to be a higher percentage of women who are engaging more in sports, as now some may have noted of females coaching professional football teams and related activates including watching sports whether live or on T.V. Men and women both have sensitivities for sport and even more when a couple have kids of their own and the child is involved in sports activities, both the men and the women make efforts to be supportive and have a priority for the sport of the child’s involvement. Nevertheless, they still maintain their differences. For instance, a female asks of his husband to do something, and he does so, however, later he is asked to do several other things on top of what he is already doing, now this is where it can lead to a complete fail. The reason for that is men simply can’t manage several tasks at times comparable to women. It’s not that they aren’t capable of doing it, it’s a natural concept men were born with. This means men try to focus on a specific tasks and get it done right and quick. Females on the other hand are born with the ability to be able to handle several tasks at once, yet fail at times and have trouble when focusing on one thing. It’s simply how men and women work. Similar to what Barry once said in his essay, were Barry’s wife asked him if he “could clean Robert’s bathroom? It’s filthy” (Barry 221). Barry takes a look at Robert’s bathroom and it “always looks perfectly fine” (Barry 221) Barry said. As the “sensitive and caring kind of guy” (Berry 221) Barry claims he is in his essay, he “cleans the bathroom” (Berry 221) and proceeds back to what he was doing before. Only to be asked again by his wife to clean the bathroom as she is looking at the walls Barry had already “Windexed” where his wife is viewing dirt he can’t see. His wife priorities are cleaning and having stuff clean when this wasn’t Barry
