If I am in the same situation as this man, I would feel unwelcome and unneeded. Therefore, being an immigrant, I am related to this unwanted feeling. One way to connect with others, who share the same cultural values can be through music. After listening to the song repeatedly, I become aware of the cultural influences through music. Popular media, music is a resource for minority, especially oppressed minority to connect their feelings. Through music, people can be who they are in three minutes because they are related to. Similarly, in "Bad Religion" the man believes in his religion because he shares the same values of the religion. As well as his identity, which he values the gay male cultures. Through social work perspective, social workers have to promote for equal access to resources, services, and information. Music can be one of the mental resource one needs. The connection between the singer and the listener creates a phenomenon, which music is the tool to make us move or to unite everyone
