The film brick mansions can correlate too many aesthetic elements of film style. One of the film styles that brick mansions can relate to is editing. The movie brick mansion is based in the future in 2018 in the city of Detroit. In Detroit there is a place called brick mansions which contained many dangerous criminals, drug addicts, and more. In the movie the police are unable to control the crime so there was a barrier built to separate brick mansions from the rest of the city.

Focal length was used in the scene where tremaines partners came to him after they tried to capture lino. The focal length was when tremaine was talking to one of his partners while he was preparing his self a meal.
Wide angle length was used when the undercover cop Damien was a restaurant with criminals trying to finish a drug bust. In the beginning of that scene it showed waitresses walking into the room and the camera was drifting towards the table where Damien and the criminals were sitting.
Telephoto lens was also used. Telephoto lens when Damien and lino are running away from tremaine and his partners. While running away from tremaine and his partners Damien and lino end up on top of the roof . When Damien and lino get to the top of the roof lino they both realize that they have to jump across to another building. So lino begins to count his steps walking away from the building and as he is walking the camera begins to use telephoto lens when the camera was pointing upward towards lino with the building in the background as if it was close to …show more content…
Cinematic composition was being used frequently in a lot of scences for example cinematie compositions was used in the scene of the movie where linos girlfriend is captured and she is sitting outside next to the bomb. Sharpness of focus was also used in some scenes because in one scence of the movie when lino and Damien were fighting over the truck we could only see the truck and Damien and lino fighting and it showed that they were in focus and had the most attention in that scencs.
The movie also used different kinds of lighting. In the scene where tremaine was cooking his food top lighting was being used on him and two of his parteners. Also, in one scene frontal lighting was being used. Frontal lighting was used when Damien found lino after lino escaped. Damien found lino in a building puched him and handcuffed lino to a pole and while they were talking the camera was pointing at Damien and lino and it both showed them close up and gave them a flat looking
