The class being observed is taught by an experienced teacher. The class is an AP US History class with some of the brightest students in the school in attendance. College Board, not NCDPI, controls the curriculum in this class. The teacher is covering American Manifest Destiny and the rise of Progressivism at the turn of the 20th century.
