The US immigration law is one of the most complex areas of law to navigate because of laws and rules along with the inner workings of the immigration policy. The policy covers family based immigration, employment based immigration, refugees and asylees, the Diversity Visa programs, US citizenship and per country ceilings among other critical areas. The American Immigration Council is not for profit organization established to promote policies, laws and attitudes that honor US long history as an immigrant nation. The council seeks to shape American immigration experience in this day and age through research, litigation, international exchange, policy analysis and communication. In an effort to bolster its capacity to promote its immigration stance, AIC recently advertised several key positions, including that of deputy legal director, Education and Training Coordinator, communication specialist and Finance and Operations associate. The Finance and Operations Associate will work with the Deputy Executive Director to oversee and implement finance and operational management strategies set out by the council. The Deputy Legal Director will oversee non litigation advocacy and legal education programs. The communication Specialist, on the other and is responsible for supporting the communication positions given by the council and producing content such as marketing campaigns, email list among others forms of communication. AIC’s main offices are located in Washington
