American Dream Perseverance

The United States of America is an amusement park where its inhabitants and visitors all look forward to the sweet awards of freedom, opportunity, and--its cotton candy--the “American Dream”. The “American Dream” is an idea that has been perceived differently throughout the years. Regardless of individual interpretation, the term still exists and has continuously drawn in a great number of people from all over the world. As our society evolves, population grows, and new officials step up to lead the country, the “American Dream” could seem improbable to achieve. However, this only appears so in the eye of the beholder. Keeping these ideas in mind, my quote would be the following: “The “American Dream” does not just happen, it demands constant perseverance, dedication, and the want for a better life.” …show more content…
When it comes to political freedom, equality, and even opportunity, an individual should try and try again regardless of difficulty. It is a right to be able to speak to our governments about concerns and problems that litter our country and have our ideas heard to reach the ideal form of society for all, the greater good. Boundaries--although difficult--are dominated and climbed, especially when they are in the way of a subject of extreme importance, such as freedom. In addition to perseverance, dedication is also an essential piece of the “American dream.” Since the focus is needed to achieve everything that is desired, constant dedication builds a more direct path to success, keeping all goals spread out and ready to be conquered. Roadblocks and boundaries may demolish goals, however, they will never demolish true dedication. True dedication goes from beginning to end, never straying from the goal, and taking control of mind and body to give everything needed to achieve the
