“I hate you! You’re not a good person.” Marian read on her phone from a text message she got 3 min. Ago. It was from a private number, so Marian thought it was from a good friend of hers she got into a little fight with earlier that day. It wasn’t though, it was a bully, but Marian didn’t know that. Marian never talked to her friend again. Assuming is wrong. Marian assumed. And ruined her friendship. In my passage, “All summer in a day”, by Ray Bradbury, illustrates assuming. In this passage, we all learn that assuming is incorrect. The main character in my passage, Margot is special. She has seen the sun, to whereas the other kids that she knows, has not.
