May 8, 2013, the most successful soccer manager of all time Sir Alex Ferguson retired. He managed Manchester United from November 1986 to May 2013. During his 26 years at the club he won 36 trophies including 13 Premier League and two UEFA Champions League titles(www.telegraph.co.uk). Since his departure, United have struggled to find a new identity with his successor, David Moyes lasting less than a year and Louis Van Gaal lasting two season. They started the new season with a new manager, Jose Mourinho, and he hasn 't had the perfect start yet. His stat is not different from the previous managers Moyes and Van Gaal after playing 13 Premier League. Jose Mourinho is considered as one of the best managers in his short career as a manager. He has won all the trophies to be won with his previous clubs. Regardless of his reputation, he was sacked by Chelsea in December 2015 after a poor start in the 2015/2016 season (bbc.com/sport). He was out of a job until June 2016; that 's when he became Manchester United 's manager. He brought four new players during the summer transfer window: Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund, Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG, Eric Bailly from Villarreal, and Paul Pogba from Juventus with £89 Million world record fee. Despite bringing new players, he also sent young players to other teams on loan in order to boost their first team experience and get more minutes in the field (skysports.com).
