At first, the outer layer of Schein’s theory that is artifacts and symbols related to factors within the organization that can be observe and measured. They are observable elements in the organization and also recognizable for other parties (Vliet, 2014). It is easy to accustomed and simple to vary such as logos, architecture, structure, processes and corporate clothing (Vliet, 2014).
Moving on, espoused values related standards, values and rules of conduct (Vliet, 2014). It belongs to medium level of Schein’s three levels. Values are not observable and visible (Tipster, 2013). It related to how they believe work should be completed effectively and to the philosophy or beliefs of the organization and how to deal with situations.
