Starting off with the simple question, what are private prisons? Private prisons are just the same as regular prisons, but they are a third party prison, meaning that they are not government owned prisons. Another name for private prisons is for-profit prisons, and the name fits the description because private prisons get contracts with the government so that they can incarcerate prisoners in their faculties. Moving forward, what is the advantage of private prisons? To build new prison faculties costs a fortune, and a long period of time to build. However, the criminal justice system is in a way its own world, and it’s there to put the bad guys where they belong and keep the innocent safe. Just as anything in this world, there is a lot of good and there is a lot of bad. There is a lot in the criminal justice system that need more work and there is a lot where we learned and adapted to the end result in which we pioneered, and continue to pioneer. Yes, the bad guys do need to be isolated from the world because we all make our own choices, and with every choice a person makes there is an end result. Once a person choices to be the bad guy in this world then the end result is that the good guys will put them away where they will not hurt anyone
