In today´s world, modern technology is everywhere. We are surrounded by it, either you are on Facebook talking with someone from England or you´re watching the Indian news live on YouTube. With modern technology we have become a global world. It makes everybody connected in some way or another. Technology has not only contributed to the global world, but also scientific research such as creating new medicine, finding new planets and so. But is modern technology all rainbow and sunshine? Or does technology has it dark sides too? Since bullying on internet has become a huge issue or illegal downloading of movies and music.
Professor Hawking´s states that one of the positive advantages of the modern technology is that it's enhances communication. With today´s devices you can communicate with anybody from all over the world. You can meet new people and learn about new cultures. In addition, you can use different devices to communicate with people who is dysfunctional. You can for instance use an IPad as a learning tool with small children. Furthermore, you can use it for taking online classes and study subjects that is not available.

Today we depend on our electronics devices to work. Firstly, at school we need the computer in order to write different tasks. Secondly, we the internet access to find relevant information and to use “it’s learning”. If my phone doesn´t work, I can´t contact my friends or my family. What if an emergency happens and my phone won´t turn on, how am I suppose to call ambulance?
