However, Mayo Clinic’s webpage was published on August 15, 2017. With this knowledge, the reader can feel like the information is correct and based on new scientific ideas, observations and research. If the webpage contains dead links and has not been updated in a while, then the reader would more than likely not trust the information on that webpage and look for a more scholarly and updated source. Although the date is easily overlooked, one doing a report on scientific information needs to know the date the observations were made so he or she can decide whether to keep that resource or to disregard the information as
