Bandura also talked about that people acquire complex behaviour through ‘Role Modelling’. We watch other people behave and many a times, act accordingly based on the reinforcement available for the same in environment. For e.g. if we see people acting aggressively and getting exactly what they want, then we are likely to act in same way in similar situations in future. This is the reason that teenagers trying to copy some habits/ behaviours (Aggression, Show-off, unethical practices etc.) through role modelling available in the environment in form of parents, relatives and society. This is illustrated in detail through famous Baby Doll experiment. (Albert Bandura, A. Ross, D., & Ross, S. A. , 1961)

Human psychologist like Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow contributed to this school of thoughts by putting forward principles of self concept and self esteem. Both the principles impart centre stage to human for realization of one’s potential i.e. Self Actualize. Self concept is a person’s global feeling about oneself and it develops through a person’s involvement with parents and others. Person with self concept is more likely to have high self exteem. Humanistic school believes that people are motivated for being self actualized. Accordingly, Maslow developed the ‘Hierarchy of needs’ responsible for motivation wherein he kept self actualization at top of hierarchy. Carl Roger propounded self theory and put forward that people are innately good, they require certain things like unconditional positive regard from interactions with others for self actualizing. He termed unconditional positive regard as a kind of blanket acceptance. Just Maslow stated that one requires satisfying the lower needs before achieving upward needs as prerequisite, Roger propounded the unconditional positive regard i.e. feel accepted in order to make strides towards self actualization. from at least age of 9 yrs to till now. Before than possibly during the age of 5-9yrs, I recall more of determinist approach of my up-bringing. I was used to get punishment for the unacceptable behaviours (Manners like way of eating, treating younger’s & elders, managing time between reading & playing etc.). Of course, I am not aware of even earlier time (0-3yrs) when possibly there was some fixation of psycho sexual stages (Oral and Anal) responsible for my love for eating and desire of discipline. Regarding the unconditional positive regard, I am able to recall my habit of skipping reading for the extension of playing time. I used to return from school around 16.00 hrs and as per time table mutually agreed with my parents, playing time was fixed as 17.00 hrs to 18.30 hrs. It was a incident of class Vth. Later, I inclined to desire of playing the game over and above the reading and started to use possible means for extension of playing time. Some days later, I started to come late from school at 16.45 hrs and as per scheduled time of playing, I got out of house at 17.00 hrs for playing till 18.30 hrs. I communicated to my parents that school time has been revised and extended however in actual, I made a group of students as school and used to play around those communicated extension of
