I strongly stand for abortion being illegal due to its cruelty not only against the child that has not yet been born, but what it would do to the one that chooses to abort… physically and emotionally hurting them. In my opinion abortion is wrong God has made everyone in his own image which means no single person deserves death unless it’s by Gods choice or doing. The author Byron Calhoun once stated in a passage “a myth about abortion being safer than childbirth” meaning he does not support abortion any more than I do. Abortion is a myth it should not exist causing nothing but regret and sinfully tempted hearts of mothers that aborted. Byron’s statement is a lot like a picture those few words go a long way with multiple meanings one of those meanings being that childbirth is what every person should choose. God has given this blessing to mankind of having kids raising them the right way but mankind has since then found ways to alter what God has blessed you with by killing them with a simple poison. The Bible tells us time and time again the Ten Commandments are what humans were founded upon rules that God simply wants us to follow. People are not perfect but they should strive to be as perfect as they can be meaning abortion is not the path they should take. “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (NIV, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20) this is a quote from the Bible stating you should enjoy who …show more content…
Alex Altman has an article which states “David Daleiden, who posed as a representative of a fetal-tissue-procurement firm, was able to infiltrate the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc. (PP) women 's-health organization and reignite a public and political debate over abortion rights in the U.S.” saying that he wanted to have this debate brought back up with the health benefits from it and to have this freedom of aborting. Many people will abort for this reason because they want what’s best for them not selflessly looking out for others or hoping for the best for them in the long run like their child. The people that choose to abort are tempted by the question of what will their well-being be like when they have given birth? This question like many others should not be something that prevents you from having a child because childbirth is something you will not regret in the long run. The maternal mortality and morbidity being decreased wouldn’t get decreased by much and God has created us to be able to support a child and give birth which should give us no reason to be worried. If you were so worried about your maternal mortality and morbidity then why would you get pregnant in the first
