Abortion should be legalized as it is a women’s moral right to decide what to do to their own bodies. Statistics show that there are approximately 1.21 million abortions each year and 3,315 each day. Taking this right away from women is wrong. Instability, inconvenience and morality plays a huge part of the reason why.
Instability is the main reason why women turn to abortions. Financial instability is number one, many women or couples are financially unstable. in no way ready to support a baby. Your family may despise you for getting pregnant at a young age. Or just because you got pregnant. I know that from experience. My aunt got pregnant, then had an abortion. My family was disgusted with her and was going to kick her out if she did not abort it. Also, people in very bad or unstable relationships, having a baby is bad especially an abusive relationship, no one should live that way especially a baby. So instability is a big deal in my eyes.

There is little time for raising the children. It takes two full time jobs just to make ends meet, and that rarely happens. A third, part time job might be necessary to provide heating the winter months. The fourth child will be here by then, and there’s little that can be done to provide any resemblance of a comfortable life. Mistakes were made in the past, and now another person has to suffer because of them. This wouldn’t be necessary if the pregnancy could be aborted. Right now, that’s a choice women can legally make.
