Much of the information on this website is similar to what can be found on the CDC’s website for ADHD and many other medical sites. One such piece of this information is the definition of the disorder. Both sites, as well as a few more, refer to ADHD as a neurobehavioral disorder that interferes with typical development within the brain. According to the framework paper on understanding how to evaluate webpages found of the Olson Library page, one way to question a websites accuracy is by asking “Are the sources for factual information clearly listed so they can be verified in another source? (Alexander, Tate 2005)” The webmaster of this page is also different from the many doctors that collaborated to compile the information on the site. Under the About page, there is a listing of over a dozen professional doctors and educators that work with ADHD that have helped to create this website. In each page of this site, the page designers have intended the coverage to become more and more in-depth about the subject. The pages are crisp, organized and contains information that is easily understandable to all members of the public. The minimal use of pictures does not hinder the complexity because of the quality of the imagery used. The page options of being able to share, send or save helps to further the information along as well as help the readers to be able to compile information of their own. The videos are very emotionally understandable in the way they are conducted and help the viewers understand a bit about what it is like to live with the disorder from both sides.
