Shoes, boots, trainers, sandals, soft shoes and shoe boxes of different sizes, tags with prices, a note, pen, play coins, paper money with a dollar sign and number, small trolleys/baskets, toy or old unused telephone, a real measuring tape and rough feet measuring sheet with numbers. Children can pretend like shop keeper and customer, engage in negotiation and telephone talk, and pay and receive bills etc. These exercises are well suited for an indoor area that can be prepared by arranging all shoes on the table, a measuring tape next to the feet-measuring sheet, a cash counter (with some small paper, notes and money) and telephone on the table.
