1.2 Explain The Importance Of Handling Sensitive Information

When you work in a child care facility, you find out a lot of information about the children and their families. You only share this information when it’s necessary. Maintaining confidentiality also builds trust. Fostering relationships with staff, children, and families is built on trust. When handling sensitive information, there is an ethical and legal responsibility to protect the privacy of individuals and their families. When you’re unbiased you will recognize the good of a person, will lead to wise decision, and factual evidence. Doing an assessment on a child will help me discover ways to help the child on being more successful
