Red-Headed Woodpecker
The classic portralyel of a woodpecker pecking away at trees is more than just a cliche. In all acutailty they are busily searching for a variety of pest ssuch as beetle larvae, ants and termites. Red-headded qwoodpeckers are epscially known for their preferance of termites.

They typically live in social groups of up to 20 idnviauls and usually establishes their base using numeorus caves and termite mounds. Howver, termite mounds are a favorite due tot he fact that it pvoides when with adeuate rooming space and food as well.

Anteateras are edentate animals, which means that thy have no teeth. However, they do have a long tongue that is moe than suffeint to consume 35,000 ants and termites each day. The anteater utilzies its sharp claws to rip an openiing into a termite mound as to which it sticks its tongue in. It'' tongue as the abilitiy to flicker up to 160 times per minute which helps to destablzies the mound as well as to scoop up as many termites as it can. interesitng enough an anteater never destroys a whole termite mound, but prefers to retrun and feed again at a later
