His merger with the Fiat group has strengthened his sustainability and revitalizes his brand (Ebhardt, 2014). However, personally, I tend to be more of a creative type, all about the employees style of manager. I enjoy thinking outside of the box and being innovative in technique as well as process. Mostly, I enjoy watching my people become successful. For this essay I am going to challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone to manage within this market driven hierarchical industry. I will offer suggestions that I think Marchionne could have used in…

Sergio Marchionne did a wonderful job, in my opinion, getting Chrysler back to a respectable station. Mr. Marchionne created a functional market culture that created the Fiat Chrysler Automobile company we have today. He created strategies that focused the strengths of the company to become efficient during a terrible time of Chryslers’ history. Having said that, I see Mr. Marchionnes’ lack of focus on clan culture is disappointing. This case study was an interesting read that has to be…

Since its acquisition by Tata motors, the performance of the erstwhile fading but iconic British brand Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has been nothing short of amazing.
