It creates ideas and makes those ideas possible. Much like how the sun sustains life and illuminates the visible world.
What does the divided line say about knowledge?
Knowledge is attainable through the world of Forms/Ideas. Though Real Knowledge which is wisdom which comes from the Good.
What does the Cave analogy say about becomming wise?
The further out we have traveled out of the cave into actual reality expands our understanding of nature or attaining wisdom.
